500 hours of playing time required for completion

Anyone who calculates the value that games offer based on the time spent with the title should find their fulfillment with Dying Light 2. As developer Techland announced in a Twitter message, gamers will need more than 500 hours to completely play through the title. As we go on, this is almost the time it takes to walk from Warsaw to Madrid.

After some fans doubted that this was ultimately a selling point for the zombie action, Techland added two short messages to clarify the situation. For one thing, it was noted that this was the estimated time for a hundred percent completion rate. If you only want to take care of the story and side missions, you will finish the game faster.

And on the other hand, it was stated that the 500 hours not only include every corner of the extensive game world, but also include all missions and the different endings without exception. One reckons, however, that a “normal player” with a story and some side missions as well as “a lot” of exploring the world would need less than 100 hours.

In any case, a very generous playing time. Dying Light 2 Stay Human will be released on February 4, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. In Germany, the uncut version was denied approval by the USK. For this reason, only a cut version with the USK-18 seal will be available in digital stores in this country for the time being (as reported). The uncut PEGI version can also be ordered as a disc version from selected retailers (including Amazon). Last actual video: Cinematic Trailer
