Allegedly new Need for Speed for mobile systems at Pokémon Unite developers in work

Apparently, fans of the racing game series Need for Speed can look forward to mobile replenishment. As can be read at Reddit.com, a new game is currently in development – at TiMi Studio, which was previously responsible for Pokémon Unite, among other things.

Corresponding information can be found on the website of the parent company Tencent. There are currently several job advertisements posted there. Accordingly, TiMi Studio is looking for numerous new employees such as design specialists, graphic artists and project managers for the locations in Shanghai and Shenzhen. They are supposed to work on a project with the code name “Need for Speed Online Mobile”. According to the descriptions, it is a racing game that is set in an open world and should offer a lot of freedom for the players. However, no further specific details are known so far, so the door is wide open to speculation.

By the way, until some time ago the development studio Criterion Games was working on a new episode of Need for Speed. However, the publisher Electronic Arts had temporarily put this project on hold (we reported) so that the Criterion team could help with the work on the first-person shooter Battlefield 2042. Since then it has remained quiet about this title.
