The indie studio Artisan (Super Neptunia RPG) tries to get in the mood for the Japan RPG, the story and the scenario of Astria Ascending with the following animated trailer. The game will be released on September 30 for PC, Switch, PlayStation 5 and 4, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One. It will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass (cloud, console, and PC). The launch price for consoles is 39.99 euros, for PC 34.99 euros (with a launch discount of 10%), 49.99 euros for the physical Collector’s Edition (including art book, world map and soundtrack) and 39.97 euros for the digital Collector’s Edition (including art book, world map, sound card and a DLC for weapon skins).

The developers describe the role-playing game as follows: “Astria Ascending is an epic adventure with the charm and aspiration of a classic JRPG and tells a comprehensive story of fate, sacrifice and new beginnings. The game was developed over three years by the ten-person development team Artisan Studio in collaboration with publisher Dear Villagers and stands out with the help of world-class JRPG developers. The soundtrack is by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII, Vagrant Story), the story by Kazushige Nojima (Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy VII Remake) and the graphics by CyDesignation (Akihiko Yoshida and Hideo Minaba). In a world threatened by chaos, players take control of the demigods – a motley crew of eight heroes who are entrusted with the fate of the world.
