Anniversary event tonight in the livestream, including a Halo surprise?

Microsoft will celebrate Xbox’s 20th birthday this Monday with a special event that fans from all over the world will be able to attend. During the broadcast, the team would like to look back on the best moments in recent years. However, Microsoft made it clear in advance that there would be no new game announcements – Xbox fans can still look forward to one or the other surprise. The event starts at 7 p.m. and can be viewed live on Twitch or YouTube.

Already at the weekend there were numerous rumors and tips circulating on the Internet, according to which the Halo Infinite multiplayer could have an earlier launch. Accordingly, the shooter from 343 Industries is said to be available shortly after the event. Officially, the release is still planned together with the campaign on December 8, 2021 for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC. Already hinted at an appearance by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who unveiled the very first Xbox in 2001 with Bill Gates. Other games from Xbox Game Studios such as Fable, Hellblade 2 or Avowed could also be part of the broadcast. The Xbox Anniversary Event should last about 30 minutes.
