“Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta” performance comparison between Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5

Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta was subjected to a comparison regarding its resolution and frame rate between the Xbox Series XZS and the PlayStation 5. Thus, we have a previous comparison between the next generation consoles.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta has been playable on Xbox only a short time ago, but it’s been long enough to face a resolution and frame rate comparison between the Xbox Series X/S and Sony’s PS5.

The analysis, which explicitly stated that the game was in beta, states that all versions use checkerboard for horizontal pixels. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X use the same dynamic range from 2160p to about 1620p, but the Xbox Series X has a higher average resolution. The Xbox Series S has a dynamic resolution of 1440p which has been reduced to 900p.

Developers still have a lot of work to do, as the beta version brings a series of bugs related to pop-ups, incorrect assets and texture errors, especially in the version Xbox Series X com 120Hz. So if you are playing the beta, make sure you first disable 120Hz mode, because all versions work perfectly with Stable 60FPS.
