Co-op shooter opens fire on PC and Switch

On September 9, 2021, Ground Shatter and Numskull Games released the cooperative cel-shading shooter RICO: London for PC and Nintendo Switch. Implementations for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S are to follow. In contrast to the eShop, Steam offers a launch discount of ten percent on the regular retail price (EUR 26.99 instead of EUR 29.99). The Switch and PlayStation versions are also available as boxed versions. The predecessor, Rico, was released in 2019 via Rising Star Games, but could not really convince in the test.

In RICO: London, police officer Redfern ends up in a London skyscraper on New Year’s Eve 1999, where a gun deal escalates. Alone or with a second player (locally via split screen or online) as a partner, you have to make your way to the top floor of the building. To do this, you have to kick doors, dodge bullets, kill a lot of gangsters and use their weapons against them. Various upgrade options are also promised.
