Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Sega reports that Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba-The Hinokami Chronicles has sold over a million copies worldwide to date. The video game based on the anime was released on October 15, 2021 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as on Steam. The publisher has already announced three (free) updates for the game. The first update is planned for the end of October and the beginning of November and contains two playable demon characters: Rui (rank 5) and Akaza (rank 3) from the Twelve Kizuki.

As a test: After Naruto and Son-Goku, the studio CyberConnect2, which specializes in anime games, takes on the revenge story of the demon hunter Tanjiro. The manga’s sales figures also benefited from the success of the series and the film adaptation. In the test, we check whether the story is also professionally told in game form.
