Developer IllFonic is working on a Ghostbusters game

Illfonics Studio co-founder Raphael Saadiq may have divulged his upcoming project last week. According to pcgamesn.com, Saadiq is best known for his musical R&B productions and mentioned in the music podcast “Questlove Supreme” that the developer studio was “currently working on Ghostbusters”.

The developer’s last projects were also briefly discussed: Friday the 13th: The Game and Predator: Hunting Grounds (from 21,51€ at to buy) .

Saadiq did not go into the Ghostbusters game, but only briefly mentioned that the trademark rights were owned by Sony. Sony also sold Predator: Hunting Grounds at the time. In addition, the former Sony Interactive board member Gio Corsi switched to Illfonic in January 2020, where he now holds the position of “Chief Product Officer”.

Apart from the podcast appearance, the studio has not yet commented on the rumor. In keeping with the upcoming movie Ghostbusters: Legacy, it could be an accompanying game release, for example.
