Developer Naughty Dog can imagine making more Uncharted games

On January 28, 2022, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection (from 47,99€ at pre-order) released on PlayStation 5. The package will contain revised versions of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (to test on 4Players.de) and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (to test on 4Players.de). A PC version will be delivered later this year.

A Thief’s End is also the previous end of the series about the charismatic treasure hunter Nathan Drake, while Lost Legacy also offers a stage for supporting characters. With these last two games, however, it should not have been the treasure hunter adventures for developer Naughty Dog. During an interview with GamesRadar, creative director Shaun Escayg gave fans hope for a sequel: “I think it’s safe to say that we can never say never. Uncharted is a franchise that we love – love the studio. Myself and [“Uncharted: The Lost Legacy”-Director] Kurt Margenau love it. It’s a world we want to see more of. So I can say that with certainty.”

While his statements aren’t official confirmation that another Uncharted game is in the works, they do give hope that the franchise could return beyond a remaster.
