While E3 2022 will take place in five months, organizers have already decided that the event will once again be tracked online only, and that no physical presence will be possible again this year.
The ESA (Entertainment Software Association) has just confirmed that the event will be 100% online because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is still on the rise. Due to the health risks of COVID-19 and its potential impact on the safety of exhibitors and attendees, E3 will not physically take place in 2022.
We remain incredibly excited about the future of E3 and look forward to announcing more details soon. In this press release sent to GamesBeat, the organizers indicate that no risk will be taken until the situation stabilizes again.
After the 2019 edition was completely canceled, this is the second consecutive year that E3 has not been held in a physical fair. At the moment CES 2022 is taking place, which many players ended up abandoning due to the significant risks of spreading the virus in the period in which we live.
Don’t panic, E3 2022 will obviously be monitored here on Windows Club, as well as the Summer Game Fest that will also return, and whose first details will be communicated shortly. One thing is for sure, there will be more great ads!
