First gameplay trailer and new information about the FIFA competitor

Last summer, the Strikerz Inc. team announced UFL, a brand new soccer simulation game designed to take on long-time rivals FIFA and eFootball. Now the first gameplay trailer and other details about the game have been announced as part of a live stream. The title, which is based on Unreal technology, should be available this year for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. UFL will use a free-to-play model, which the developers describe as “Fair To Play”.

In terms of gameplay, UFL is similar to FIFA’s popular Ultimate Team mode: players set up their own football club and determine the squad and line-up themselves. Individual footballers can also be upgraded to improve on-pitch performance. In addition, the team presented several modes. The highlight here is the online league, where players will battle through multiple divisions. Other offline and online game modes are also available – including 2v2, 3v3, duels against friends, special events, missions and more.

Leading up to the release, Strikerz Inc. also unveiled a number of Ambassadors for UFL. Roberto Firmino, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku were already known. Cristiano Ronaldo was then presented in the live stream as the brand ambassador for the upcoming FIFA competitor. There are also initial partnerships with clubs. Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Borussia Mnchengladbach are listed here from the Bundesliga. More than 200 employees are now working on the ambitious project.
