Forspoken, exclusive to the PS5, makes an unexpected appearance on the Microsoft Store; will enter the PC’s Xbox Game Pass?

Forspoken, an action-RPG formerly known as Project Athia, first aired in 2020 alongside Sony’s PlayStation 5 reveal event. He follows Frey, wrenched from her life in New York and transported to the land of Athia, where she learns a variety of new powers used to help her survive.

The game was announced for PlayStation 5 and PC earlier this year, with a dedicated Steam page already available for the title. The page doesn’t share any new details about the project, but it also features an unexpected appearance in the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The title also seems compatible with as conquistas do Xbox Live and Xbox cloud saves, as listed.

Speculation is that the game joins the Microsoft Store to maximize profits, with several previous Square Enix titles also available in the PC store. The list may also allude to intentions to bring the game to the subscription service. Xbox Game Pass yes Microsoft on PC. Outriders, the latest project by Square Enix and People Can Fly, also made an Xbox Game Pass debut in early 2021.

Until we hear more details from Microsoft or Square Enix about the plausibility of launching an Xbox Game Pass, it’s worth taking this news as pure speculation until we get official confirmation of their PC plans. Another issue is that there is a chance it will also arrive on Xbox Gaming Cloud. Have you thought?
