Forza Horizon 5 is IGN’s Game of the Year, which does not include any PlayStation games.

IGN.com has made its own Games Awards 2021, naming the Forza Horizon 5 Playground Games’ Game of the Year (GOTY). The public vote went to another Xbox exclusive: Halo Infinite, evidently loved, especially in North America. Interesting is the total exclusion of the awards of two PlayStation exclusives Most talked about 2021: Returnal and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, who are still dry-mouthed. Of course, there’s Deathloop, which was developed by an Xbox Game Studio anyway.

In fact, Forza Horizon 5 won four awards. In addition to GOTY, he also received the best exclusive console, the best racing game and the most accessible game of 2021. Who else than him in this strange year deserved so much praise? But stop babbling and read all the awards given by IGN.com:

  • Best Game of the Year 2021: Forza Horizon 5
  • Most Popular Game of the Year 2021 (players vote): Halo Infinite

As seen, Xbox Game Studios was by far the most awarded publisher, but IGN totally “forgot” about the Playstation this year. Amazing.
