  • A new Sonic game will be revealed for the first time.
  • Announced the first game of Improbable: Imrobable studio has confirmed that their first game will be announced at the ceremony.
  • Announcement of ARC Raiders: After months of teasing, Swedish Embark Studios will finally unveil their first game. It looks like it’s an FPS, but we know the studio is also working on a TPS.
  • Trailer for the Halo TV series: The release of the series is scheduled for 2022 and a few weeks ago we had a very short teaser. The Game Awards 2021 will lift the veil on a more complete video and, why not, a release date.

List of rumors

  • BioShock 4 may be announced during the ceremony. Many rumors about him have surfaced in recent days.
  • Senua’s Saga – Hellblade 2 was revealed at the 2019 Game Awards and there is a rumor that he will return this year after a two-year absence. This is a very strong rumor.
  • Alan Wake 2 could well be announced during the conference, in keeping with the indiscretions of Jeff Grubb and Modern Vintage Gamer.
  • Fable, the next game from Playground Games, may pass a head during the ceremony.
  • Avowed could appear according to Grubb, but it looks like they’ve changed their plans and maybe he won’t.

what not to expect

  • There will be no Dragon Age in this year. Bioware has confirmed that the next Dragon Age 4 news will be released in 2022 and not before.
  • Activision won’t be there. After the numerous allegations of harassment and misbehavior within the company since the beginning of the year, Activision will be banned from the Game Awards. His games, however, will remain nominated and it should also be noted that the Game Awards Advisory Board remains comprised of Rob Kostich, President of Activision. So there’s a good chance that not a word will be said to Activision and the harassed employees during the ceremony.
  • The Last Night: Contrary to what you might think with the streaming video quickly withdrawn, the game will not be featured this year at the Game Awards. Tim Soret arranged a meeting for us in 2022 to discover the game.
  • Ubisoft Quartz, Ubi’s NFT service, will not be discussed during the conference.

Certainly, the Game Awards 2021 will not be missed under any circumstances. Geoff Keighley says this is the biggest lineup of premieres and unreleased announcements the show has ever seen. Games slated for release in 2022 and 2023 will be unveiled.
