God of War for PC, pre-download on Steam: Here’s the date and time

God of War, 2018

God of War for PC will be available for pre-download on Steam starting tomorrow, January 12 at 1pm, Brazilian time: Santa Monica Studio announced on Twitter.

Victim of a leak with a two-hour video, God of War will also bring to the platform Windows the adventure of Kratos and his son Atreus in the northern lands, fighting ice monsters and hostile gods. It is a major milestone for the end of exclusivity PlayStation.

Compared to the original PS4 version, the game will feature up to 4K resolution, increased frame rates, improved effects, and support for NVIDIA DLSS and AMD Super Resolution technologies on PC for performance improvements. So expect something better than the Playstation.

The PC version requirements of God of War speak of an Intel i5 2500K or an AMD Ryzen 3 1200 with GTX 960 or R9 290X for the lowest presets, opting for a resolution of 720p and 30 frames per second.

To aim at maximum, therefore, at 4K and 60 fps, you will need a much more performing configuration, with a high-end processor and GPU: an Intel i9 9900K or an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X equipped with an RTX 3080 or an RX 6800XT.
