A few weeks before the release of Elden Ring (from 50,99€ at pre-order), Director Hidetaka Miyazaki spoke about the upcoming game in an interview with Edge Magazine (via VGC). In detail, it was also about the setting of Elden Ring. Because of the release of Demon’s Souls for the launch of the PlayStation 5 last year, which was celebrated by many fans from a visual point of view, the graphics department of From Software is said to have felt an extra pressure in the development of their current project. But Miyazaki is still proud of the work of his team, as he revealed in an interview.
Graphics have never been a top priority in From Software’s games. In the case of Elden Ring, however, the developers have again implemented various innovations that make the title one of the most beautiful games of the studio. Fans don’t have to wait too long for the release of Elden Ring. Release is scheduled for February 24, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC. Incidentally, Miyazaki also revealed that he has not yet played the remake of Demon’s Souls. Accordingly, the director is not a fan of playing his old projects again because it evokes emotions from that time. Nevertheless, there was praise for the Bluepoint Games team for the new edition.
