GTA San Andreas – Definitive Edition will be released on Xbox Game Pass on day one

Rockstar confirmed that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition will come to Xbox Game Pass in November. Rockstar recently confirmed that it would remaster GTA: San Andreas as part of its next remastered collection, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. That said, the announcement that only one of these games will be available on the Xbox Game Pass is a big win.

Rockstar recently announced the remastered GTA trilogy, causing an eruption of hype across the Internet. The trilogy has been much talked about since early 2021 and has not caused a lack of speculation. Some were wondering if they would be definitive remakes or if they would be similar to the 2010s mobile doors. It seems Rockstar has worked a lot with these new remasters to make them accessible to a modern audience, keeping the original base.

To make them even more accessible, Rockstar has confirmed that it will bring Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition to Xbox Game Pass in November 11th, the day the trilogy will be released.

The addition of GTA: San Andreas to the Xbox Game Pass is another major achievement of the service. In 2021, the Xbox Game Pass had a number of major additions on its first day, with games like Back 4 Blood, MLB The Show 21 , Outriders and, later this year, Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5. Microsoft has been incredibly optimistic in expanding its service and it certainly looks like this will be one of the most significant first day titles of the year, especially as San Andreas is a highly loved game.

Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition will be released digitally on November 11, 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC via Rockstar Game Launcher. The collection will also be released on physical media on December 6, 2021 for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
