As Aaron Linde, a so-called “narrative writer and designer” and responsible for Halo Infinite at 343 Industries, announced on his personal Twitter account, he will be leaving the development studio to take on new tasks. However, he does not reveal which tasks are involved.
As he goes on, this was an incredibly difficult decision. It goes on to say that Halo Infinite was one of his proudest achievements of his career and will remain so for the rest of his life. He also thanks his (ex) colleagues at 343, the speakers and, last but not least, the players who accompanied him and the team on the wild ride.
According to his LinkedIn profile, he and his team of authors were responsible, among other things, for all narrative content in the shooter’s open campaign world. These include, for example, the side missions, the audiologs that can be found, the announcements from the radio towers, etc. In total, over 15,000 lines of conversations and over 100 longer audio diary entries were created.
The Halo Infinite campaign was released on November 15, 2021 for PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. You can read the test on 4Players.de here.
