The Community Manager at 343 Industries, John “Unyshek” Junyszek, announced in a recent tweet that Halo Infinite’s multiplayer will be updated with three playlists additional coming soon: Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT) e Free-For-All (FFA). Junyszek noted that although these lists won’t arrive in time for the official Dec. 8 release of Halo Infinite, they will arrive before 2022.
Junyszek also confirmed that developers are working on a playlist for the Social Slayer that it will have “multiple variations”, but that this playlist won’t be ready until after the holiday season. This playlist will give fans a way to strictly play Slayer and nothing else, which will no doubt help players who have Weekly Challenges focused on Slayer to complete.
In general, this is an excellent change for Halo Infinite, especially as Halo Infinite’s fun multiplayer is being held back by lack of content. Hopefully, even more modes and playlists will be added going forward, although according to Junyszek, developers are planning to try out other additions to the game during Events before adding them as permanent content offers.
Halo Infinite multiplayer is free and available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles and Windows PCs.
