In addition to Halo Infinite, 343 Industries has another game in development, according to Jez Corden.

According to Windows Central reporter Jez Corden, 343 Industries has at least another game in development, in addition to Halo Infinite. Unfortunately, he did not provide details, remaining very vague. He probably doesn’t even know the nature of the game or that it is still in the early stages of development.

Corden, known to be familiar with Xbox and more generally Microsoft, brought up the subject during The Xbox Two podcast, which he leads alongside Rand on Thor 19. Of course, the information should be taken with due care consideration as there is no confirmation from 343 Industries or Microsoft. However, it wouldn’t be too strange for such a large studio to work on multiple projects at once.

Corden suggested that the project was supposedly related to Halo, but didn’t provide further details. Here’s how he summarized:

“Yes, they are working on another project that is not Halo Infinite. I know it.”

Earlier this year, the 343 denied working on a new Halo Wars game, explaining that “unfortunately we can’t devote the time and attention we would need to provide updates and additional content for the Halo Wars franchise.”

No one can guess what this separate Halo project might be related to, then. In any case, it’s probably a little distant… Besides, we remind you that Halo Infinite entered the Gold stage yesterday, after having appeared in the last few hours the first previews of the single player campaign, some enthusiastic about the quality of the game.
