It Takes Two é o GOTY do The Game Awards 2021!

The most anticipated moment of The Game Awards 2021 has officially arrived: on the stage of Geoff Keighley’s kermesse, in fact, the game of the year 2021 was officially elected, with 90% of votes from the specialized jury and 10% of the audience. This year’s GOTY was It Takes Two.

The battle, this year, had already gained prominence in the nominations, when the names of the games that would dispute the best of the year were announced. To triumph was It Takes Two, the EA title signed by Hazelight and focused on co-op mode.

The GOTY nominees at The Game Awards 2021, we remind you, were:

  • Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart
  • It Takes Two
  • Psychonauts 2
  • Resident Evil Village
  • Metroid Dread
  • Deathloop

The awards ceremony was announced by Neil Drukmann, director of Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us and Uncharted 4. After a top-notch musical performance that merged several music tracks from various games under the name Goty, Sony’s developer announced the winner, which we repeated as It Takes Two.
