Kena: Is Bridge Of Spirits Coming to Xbox?


Kena: Bridge of Spirits was released for PlayStation and PC, resulting in many positive comments with a average 83 on Opencritc. Most notable is its visual style, which incorporates an animated film, probably due to developer Ember Lab’s experience in animation.

With Kena: Bridge of Spirits rocking the gaming world, Xbox fans are keen to see if they can get their hands on the game. Sony has invested in marketing, but this does not guarantee definitive exclusivity for the Playstation.

Kena: Is Bridge Of Spirits Coming to Xbox?

At the moment, we don’t have definitive information about this. BUT, is a temporary exclusive.

Toward the end of the game’s reveal trailer last year, it was touted as a PlayStation 5 exclusive console (although we now know it’s also available on the PlayStation 4 – Sony had withheld that information at the time). However, a notice at the bottom says: “Exclusive console for a limited time. Also available on PC”.

Of course, we know about its PC release, but the limited-time comment suggests we can see it on the Xbox no future. Although it’s not clear how long the time-limited agreement is.

As of this writing, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is available for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The game has been delayed a few times, but now it’s finally released. Due to the temporary exclusivity agreement, we didn’t expect the game to make it to Xbox (if it did) before it did. March 2022 , but probably in september 2022.

What kind of game is Kena: Bridge Of Spirits?

Kena: Bridge of Spirits is an action-adventure game where players control the main character. You collect a substance known as Rot to gain powerful abilities and change the world by exploring a variety of stunning locations.

Combat is also a big part of Kena, as you engage in a mix of hack & slash fights, along with the ability to shoot with ranged attacks.

This part was quite controversial as Kena had very restricted access to the analyses. Few content creators had early access to the game and the notes are still coming out. At the Metacritic, currently, his score is 84. While on Opencritic your score is 83. Ratings can still change as reviews have been delayed.

Unfortunately, that’s all we know for now. There’s no solid information, but it seems quite likely that an Xbox will be released in the near future – and maybe in the Xbox Game Pass, if Microsoft manages to close the deal.
