Developer Sloclap has surprisingly announced that the release of Sifu has been brought forward. Accordingly, the action game will no longer appear on February 22, 2022, but on February 8, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC. So fans can start their kung fu adventure two weeks earlier. In line with the announcement, the team has also released two new trailers for the game, which introduce the new release and Sifu’s combat system.
“Sifu tells the story of a young kung fu student who seeks revenge and hunts down the murderers of his family. In his struggle against all alone, he has no allies and his enemies are innumerable. He must rely on his unique mastery of kung fu and a mysterious devotee to survive and preserve his family’s legacy. ”
Before developing Sifu, Sloclap was responsible for Absolver, which was launched in 2017. The earlier release of the action game makes perfect sense if you look at the calendar. Horizon Forbidden West, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen and Elden Ring will appear in the originally planned period of well-known titles that Sifu might have stolen the limelight.
