Masahiro Sakurai, Director of Smash Bros., Bought an Xbox Series X: Microsoft Appreciates

After completing the work on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Masahiro Sakurai is proving to be quite active in his well-deserved rest, including photos on horseback and new purchases, and among these last ones yesterday also appeared one. Xbox Series X recently purchased by the developer Nintendo, who made the official account for Xbox twitter particularly happy.

With the tweet below, Sakurai reported that he recently purchased an Xbox Series X: “A year after release, I finally bought it! It will likely be because of the pandemic, but it remains difficult to find new consoles available,” wrote the director of Smash Bros.

There was no lack of responses from the official Xbox account, which welcomed the purchase wishing sakurai and Fukura (his cat, visible in the photo) all the fun possible. With the achievement of the twentieth anniversary of the Xbox, the console seems to have more visibility in Japan.

Sakurai, however, had already mentioned Xbox at the time of Banjo-Kazooie’s introduction as additional Super Smash Bros. characters, inviting users to play with the inclusion of Steve and Alex from Minecraft within the game, while in the end the idea to see the Master Chief is also a good idea.

All in all, we hope Sakurai will have a lot of fun with her new Xbox Series X and will also enjoy the Game Pass, which is a jewel of the house. What do you think?
