New video published for the anniversary of the role-playing game original

To mark the 34th anniversary of Final Fantasy, Square Enix has shared new material on Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin with fans. In the video, fans get to see one of the most famous scenes from the original with the heroes from the upcoming game. This is the group’s walk across the North Bridge in the world of Final Fantasy. Stranger of Paradise is a reinterpretation of the 1987 story that will center around Jack and his friends. The events are told from the point of view of Garland – the villain of Final Fantasy at the time.

Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the series and now CEO of Mistwalker Corporation, says: “Garland, defeated at the beginning of the story, is reborn 2,000 years in the past as Chaos, where he continues to rule the darkness, but is again defeated by the warriors of light … I created this endless cycle in history because it was the first game in the series, and even though it’s a pixel art RPG, I thought that if we put layers into the story, we could create authentic entertainment think the same goes for the scene where players cross the northern bridge and the title and opening text are on the screen. “

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will be available on March 18, 2022 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC. Those who pre-order the digital editions can start playing the new action role-playing game from Team Ninja up to 72 hours earlier.
