Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous: Successful sales launch of the role-playing game

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous sold over 250,000 copies on PC in the first week (since it went on sale). In addition, compared to the launch of the predecessor (Pathfinder: Kingmaker), more than twice as many people were active in the game at the same time.

“We’ve worked really hard for a long time to make Wrath of the Righteous the game we envisioned at the beginning of development, even more so after the phenomenal Kickstarter campaign and the support that came with it. We wanted a milestone in the genre Created for fans of CRPGs, evolving the genre and adding mechanics that reflect the flexibility and freedom of tabletop games “, sagt Creative Director Alexander Mishulin. “We are delighted that players and critics alike think that we succeeded and that we actually exceeded our goals. We are really overwhelmed by the feedback.”

So far, four patches for the role-playing game have been released. Further updates are already in development.

“This is really a big moment for us. And it’s just the beginning! We are determined to give the players what they expect and I’m really impressed with the energy the Owlcat team has put into eliminating the players reveals reported problems “says Ilya Salamatov, CEO of META Publishing. “Of course we listen carefully to the community, so please keep giving us feedback, it’s priceless for us.”

In the meantime, Owlcat has released a story background video with James Jacobs (Creative Director of Paizo) to help players enter the world and better explain the world wound.
