PlayStation profiles will soon be able to be linked to Discord

It’s been a few months since Sony announced a partnership with Discord (we reported). Those responsible have now announced which functions PlayStation players can look forward to in the future. Initially, only US users can try out the new features. In the coming days, however, other countries will be added. In the Discord settings, for example, users have the option of linking their PSN profile to the platform.

This will show the titles you are currently playing on PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 directly in your Discord profile. This allows other users to see what you are up to at the moment. However, the function is voluntary and can be deactivated in the settings. At the same time, you can place your PSN name in the Discord profile in the future, so that users can send you friend requests, for example. Discord has not revealed when exactly players in Europe can count on the integration.
