We’ve been eyeing the self-proclaimed “cosmic horror FPS” known as the Quantum Error, and TeamKill Media has confirmed that the game is changing to Unreal Engine 5 for development.
You can take a look at the teaser trailer below, all captured In real time running on Unreal Engine 5. If you haven’t been keeping up to date, UE5 was revealed last year and several developers have switched to it.
The game itself is centered around a rescue mission that “quickly falls into darkness” when you arrive and discover that things aren’t what they seem. Quantum Error had received an “end of 2021” release window at this time last year, but the intention is now to release “around the spring of 2022”, meaning during our fall next year.
