Racing game will soon have sign language support

Today, Forza Horizon 5 is the next open world racing game officially released by Microsoft and Playground Games for Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One PC and Xbox Game Pass. Right at the launch, the title offers extensive accessibility settings with which every player can make individual adjustments for their adventure in Mexico. Now the developers have also announced that Forza Horizon 5 will soon receive support for sign language.

The details are about British Sign Language (BSL) and American Sign Language (ASL), which will be available in the racing game with an upcoming update. The feature is initially planned for the cinematics of Forza Horizon 5. At the bottom of the screen, in picture-in-picture mode, you will see an interpreter who will translate the content accordingly.

Xbox continues to focus more on diversity and inclusion. In addition to the upcoming support for sign language, the racing game already offers a variety of accessibility features. For example, virtual drivers can reduce the general game speed in offline mode. Modes for color blindness and high contrast are also available in the settings.
