Redfall: the first alpha game images were leaked on the internet; it’s like “Borderlands”

Redfall is the new game in development at Arkane, former authors of Dishonored and Prey, which has presented itself so far with a first trailer, but without further details, so let’s look with interest at these supposed first screenshots of an alpha version of the game that leaked on the internet.

Obviously, this isn’t official material, so it’s unclear whether these are actually screenshots taken from Redfall’s alpha (and in that case could also be removed quickly), but everything seems to match the description. This is a game still in the preliminary stage of production, so they are not indicative of the final quality of the title, considering that it is only scheduled for 2022 shipped.

It seems to be the shooter that aims for cooperative multiplayer, even if it has a single-player campaign, in which each character has specific abilities and finds itself struggling in a semi-contemporary setting where threats are represented by vampires and otherto disturbing creatures, in a sort of “modern gothic” style, so to speak.

From the images, the possibility of playing also seems to arise. both first person and third person, as a screenshot presents the game in this last photo. From what can be seen, it seems that it is possible to equip the character with various weapons and items.

It also seems that everything is set in a large freely exploreable map, which offers several possibilities for in-depth analysis in various places, following the main and minor missions. Redfall, according to the leak, would be very similar to Bordelands, but with vampires, an open world shooter with fast travel and safehouses, each hero has his own abilities (just like the trailer).

We saw Redfall at E3 2021 with trailer and release period, this is the new exclusive Xbox developed by Arkane after Deathloop, expected to arrive in our winter of 2022 – in about a year. To learn more, stay tuned to Windows Club, What did you think?
