Call of Duty: Warzone players will have to wait a little longer for the new Pacific map in the Battle Royale shooter to start. As publisher Activision announced on Twitter, the release has to be postponed by a week. Call of Duty: Vanguard owners will now have earlier access to Caldera on December 8, 2021. The map will then be available for all other players on December 9, 2021.
At the same time, the opening of “Vanguard Season 1” in Call of Duty: Warzone was postponed to a later date. Here fans also have to wait until December 8th. The highlights of the new season include the introduction of the anti-cheat software Ricochet, which is already used in Call of Duty: Vanguard. Activision has not given a reason for the postponement of the Pacific map. Incidentally, the new content will appear at the same time as the launch of the Halo Infinite campaign. Call of Duty: Warzone is available as a free-to-play title for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
