Release of the role-playing game for PlayStation 5 rather unlikely?

The release of the role-playing game The Elder Scrolls 6 is still a long way off. Nevertheless, such a prominent title as this one comes up again and again as a topic – for example in an interview between colleagues at British GQ magazine and Xbox boss Phil Spencer. Although this did not specifically mention the PlayStation 5. Nevertheless, his statements suggest that The Elder Scrolls 6 could appear exclusively for the PC and the Xbox Series X / S under certain circumstances. “It’s not about punishing any other platform. Basically, I think that all platforms can continue to grow. But in order to be on Xbox, I want us to be able to offer the complete package. And this would be true when I think of Elder Scrolls 6. That also applies when I think of all of our franchises. ”

It remains to be seen whether and in what form the role-playing game The Elder Scrolls 6 will actually appear exclusively for the Xbox Series X / S. This could possibly also be a time-limited exclusivity in order not to completely exclude the great customer potential of the PS5. Incidentally, it wouldn’t be Bethesda Game Studios’ first exclusive title for Xbox consoles. The role-playing game Starfield should also appear exclusively for the Microsoft platform and the PC (we reported).
