This new area was previously seen during a tale in season three, but now players can dive in to find out. all your secrets and treasures. Hidden inside are six mermaid shrines, each equipped with a puzzle to solve to gain some treasure. There is also the Mermaid Treasures, where groups will be tasked with facing waves of enemies to obtain new coral treasures.
To help players progress through the season’s 100 levels, Tracks and Actions have become much more manageable. When logging in, it is said that “a wider range of regularly rotating titles [irá] expand the ways in which players can increase their Renown.” These daily actions will bring lesser challenges, while weekly, monthly and seasonal tests aim to have much bigger goals for bigger rewards.
Season Four looks to continue a phenomenal year for Sea of Thieves, which has not only seen the introduction of several seasons, but also a huge expansion of Pirates of the Caribbean. It looks like Rare have no intention of slowing down when it comes to the game and we can’t wait to see what the team has up their sleeves next.
