Sea of Thieves – Season 5: bury treasure and a boat with a spotted cannon!

The Sea of Thieves community has long been asking for it to be possible to hide the treasures obtained in the game so they won’t be stolen. And Rare listened and confirmation reached us this week!

As the video shows, it will be possible to bury the treasures in the sand of the Sea of Thieves. It remains to be seen whether Rare will implement a way to find them easily, whether for those who hide them or for enemies who seek them out.
Cannon equipped rowboats
In the video below, Rare shows the three types of boats that are available on Sea of Thieves today, namely the Sloop, Brigantine and Galeão. But the video ends in the rowboat in which we can clearly see a cannon.

This one is placed at the front of the boat and should definitely liven up the departures, as well as giving more interest to this type of boat. After the addition of the harpoon, it looks like they will continue to evolve.

In another Sea of Thieves Season 5 teaser video, Rare shows us a cannon from which a flare is fired. The studio is talking about the Reaper faction here, though we don’t know yet if they’ll be the only ones who can use that option. It is also not known what exactly it can be used for or if other colors will be available. Thriller.

Finally, Rare also presented another video that jokingly clarifies that scales are ancient history. In fact, they will always be present in the game, but a kind of wooden elevator is presented to us.

Sea of Thieves Season 5 is scheduled for release in early December, more precisely on the 2nd.
