Starting signal for preload, the first players apparently already active

The release of the first-person shooter Battlefield 2042 (from 53,99€ at pre-order) is planned for November 19, 2021. However, you have the option of joining the battle earlier: If you have pre-ordered the gold or ultimate edition of the action game, you can enter the early access phase from November 12th – one week ahead of all other players. Alternatively, this also works via a membership of EA Play Pro on the PC. The preload has already started so that you are prepared in time.

At least on the Xbox consoles you can download all the necessary data (a little over 27 gigabytes) in advance since November 6th. Representatives of the PC and PlayStation factions, however, have to wait until November 10th before they can tackle the preload.

By the way, some fans seem to have already managed to play a game in Battlefield 2042. For example, the user “aaronfroggy” recently uploaded several videos to the platform showing how he is fighting against several bots. How legal the whole thing is, and how he managed this feat, he has not yet revealed.

After a short-term postponement (we reported), Battlefield 2042 will be released on November 19, 2021 for the PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S.
