Still no plans for Ubisoft+ on PS5, Rainbow Six Extraction comes in full price on PlayStation

Ubisoft+, the French publisher’s answer to subscriptions like EA Play, will be released on Xbox later this year – though, it’s not yet set up to be included on the Xbox Game Pass. After that, many Playstation users are wondering if they will be excluded from this service.

Ubisoft+ is currently available for PC and includes access to a chest of over 100 games, while securing new titles and DLC on release day. It costs $49.99 a month and you can unsubscribe at any time – although of course you’ll lose access to any games you didn’t buy once your subscription expires. You also get additional perks like bonus cosmetics, item boosts, and so on.

In other related news, players from PlayStation will have to pay full price fur Rainbow Six: Extraction, while it will be offered at no extra cost to Xbox Game Pass subscribers at launch. This continues an ongoing theme from last year and heightens the urgency for Sony to launch its own Spartacus project, which is considered a complete retelling of PS Plus and PS Now.

It’s worth mentioning that Rainbow Six: Extraction is not a typical R$350 game from the Playstation store and is being sold by Ubisoft at a reduced price of R$ 189 on all platforms. However, debates will continue as Microsoft continues to add unprecedented value to its services. Xbox Game Pass subscribers got this game without paying anything extra for it.
