System requirements and PC version details

The Forza Horizon 5 system requirements have been established. Playground Games and Xbox Game Studios have broken down the PC specs for various Nvidia and AMD setups, but have also updated the minimum specs from the previous estimate in the Microsoft Store and on Steam (see graphic below).

The developers assure that the racing game was “developed from the ground up for PC”. It is said to offer a variety of graphics settings that can be used to customize the gaming experience, including unlimited refresh rate, 4K resolution, HDR support and an extended field of view. In Forzavista (auto-presentation mode), ray tracing is also used – for reflections and also for the sound. The PC version also supports 21: 9 ultrawide displays as well as the “most popular” steering wheels from Logitech, Thrustmaster and Fanatec. In addition, haptic feedback is supported on the Xbox Wireless Controller in all versions of Forza Horizon 5 – including for the first time on Steam.

Logitech: Driving Force, G25, G27, G29, G920, G923PS, G923XB, Momo
Thrustmaster: Ferrari 458, T150 RS, T300 RS, T500 RS, TMX, T-GT, TS-XW, TX, TS-PC
Fanatec: V1, V2, V2.5, CSL, CSL DD, DD1, DD2, Universal HUB Device

Forza Horizon 5 will be available for PC and Xbox consoles on November 9, 2021. The racing game will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass (PC, cloud, console).
