Tekken and Soul Calibur producer leaves company after 25 years


After 25 years, Motohiro Okubo says goodbye to his employer, Bandai Namco. This is reported by Twinfinite, among others. There he last appeared as a producer for the fighting games Tekken 7 and Soul Calibur 6 as well as Pac-Pan 99 for Switch.

On his official Twitter account, Okubo writes that he will remain loyal to the gaming industry. The post also shows that he is starting a new job at a studio in Shibuya (Tokyo). However, he has not yet given any further details about the new employer.
