The Game Awards 2021: Trailer shows a summary of the games nominated for the awards

The Game Awards 2021 is fast approaching, with the event set for next week, and Geoff Keighley is fueling the anticipation with the publication of a “Hype Trailer” containing a summary of the games hottest of 2021 and nominated for multiple awards for the night in question.

As the trailer’s title informs, it’s a video built to create hype in view of the gala night, which we remember will be held the night between December 9th and 10th, from 10pm onwards, a somewhat prohibitive time, but we are waiting for you anyway for the news in real time.

The trailer in question, which appears to have been edited by Keighley himself, is made up of gameplay snippets and cutscenes taken from many of the award-nominated top games in the various categories. Among them we find, to give some examples, Halo Infinite, Resident Evil Village, It Takes Two, Psychonauts 2 , Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Deathloop, Metroid Dread, Life is Strange: True Colors, Forza Horizon 5 and several others.

All of this is also accompanied by the song KYRH by Hayley Williams, or the famous leader of Paramore, which, if desired, could also be seen as a possible clue to a possible presence of the singer during the night of the Game Awards, catering to musical guests from high profile that also characterized the previous editions, but we still don’t have information about that.

Among the possible innovations that could make room for the 2021 Game Awards, we’ve seen clues about Bioshock 4 and maybe Hellblade 2 and Avowed, but we just have to wait until Friday to find out more.
