The mad hedgehog gets its own Lego set

Nintendo’s Klepmner icon Super Mario has already been published in the form of building blocks – and even allows interactive coin collecting. It doesn’t quite go that far with Sega’s flagship hedgehog Sonic. But the recently announced Lego Sonic The Hedgehog Green Hill Zone set, which has over 1,000 pieces, is still an eye-catcher.

And you don’t have to wait long until the set is available: Sonic, his friends and of course his adversary Dr. From January 1, 2022, Eggman will race through the level known since Mega-Drive times, which is the result of the Lego Ideas platform, a LEGO initiative that enables fans to share ideas with the entire LEGO fan base can vote. The submission from Lego fan Viv Grannell received the 10,000 votes required to be given the go-ahead by the LEGO team and put into action.
