Therefore the co-op campaign is delayed

It has been known since the beginning of this week that both the editor and the co-op campaign of Halo Infinite are a little longer in coming than previously thought (we reported). In contrast to the story campaign, the release of the cooperation experience is only planned for next year. But why does this delay come about at all?

Joseph Staten, Head of Creative at developer studio 343 Industries, recently gave an answer to this question in an interview with colleagues from IGN. According to him, it was a very tough decision. However, the top priority for the team is not to publish such things until they are actually ready for a release.

“I’m working on Halo, but I’m also a fan of Halo at the same time. The co-op campaign is essential to the experience. Playing Halo with your friends is playing Halo – whether it’s multiplayer or the campaign. Of all the tough decisions we had to make, moving co-op was particularly tough. Yet it shows the studio’s commitment. Even if it is challenging. Even if it hurts: only publish experiences when they are ready. Only publish high quality experiences. ”

A specific release date for the Halo Infinite co-op campaign was unfortunately not elicited from Staten during the interview. Therefore, you must be patient, whether you like it or not.
