These are the first notes and reviews for Arkane’s Deathloop

Although it hasn’t arrived on Xbox yet, Deathloop from Arkane Studios has already been rated by the international media that have judged it and so far the title is highly acclaimed and it looks like we’re facing a really great game.

Deathloop is a next-generation first-person shooter from Arkane Lyon, the award-winning studio behind Dishonored. Here the idea is that two rival assassins are trapped in a mysterious timeloop on the island of Blackreef. You have to break the loop by killing everyone and then you will get out of this nightmare.

Below, check out the first notes and comments:

IGN – 10/10

Deathloop wraps fun investigative work and satisfying combat in a unique time loop mechanic to create a tremendously satisfying adventure.

Gamespot – 10/10

Arkane Lyon’s sequel to Dishonored is a master class in open-ended action game design.

Eurogamer – Essential

A brilliant timeloop shooter that gives Dishonored’s best tricks and techniques more opportunities to shine.

Destructoid – 9/10

Deathloop combines a classic Arkane stealth and stealth base with a genuinely interesting and fun premise of self-control. This will be on many Games of the Year lists.

PC Gamer – 89/100

A considerate response to Dishonored makes it a fun sniper in its own right, but it’s the multiplayer invasions that make Deathloop sing.

The average in Opencritic is 88 and can even take you to compete for GOTY and 90 in Metacrict. That’s it for now, we’ll soon be able to update this story with more notes.
