Trailer shows the graphic improvements in comparison

The graphics improvements in Alan Wake Remastered (from 9,90€ at buy) compared to the original from 2010, Epic Games Publishing and Remedy Entertainment present in the following trailer. The game should support 4K graphics on appropriate platforms. The developers want to have revised the environments, improved the characters and adapted the film sequences. There’s also a new making-of comment from Creative Director Sam Lake. The remaster includes the content of the main game and the two expansions “The Signal” and “The Writer”.

Sam Lake recently spoke about the revision on PlayStation.Blog: “Many of the creators of the original Alan Wake, myself included, were involved in creating this remaster. Most of all, we wanted to preserve Alan Wake’s identity and unique visual style while still bringing the graphics to the levels that gamers expect today. We have reworked almost everything from the original game: lots of individual objects, from ambient scenes to individual props, textures, sound effects and the design of the user interface. As they make up an extremely important part of the nerve-wracking atmosphere of the game, a whole team has worked painstaking work only to ensure that the trees and foliage look as good as possible. “

Alan Wake Remastered will be released on October 5, 2020 for PC (Epic Games Store: 29.99 euros), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S. Alan Wake is celebrating its premiere on the PlayStation.
