Ubisoft is considering a 60 FPS update for consoles

On December 22nd, 2021 Ubisoft celebrated Assassin’s Creed Day with its fans. There weren’t many announcements regarding new content, but it looks like players will soon be able to look forward to another update for a previous part of the series, through which the title can then be displayed at 60 FPS. According to a tweet from those responsible, it should be Assassin’s Creed Origins (from 11,00€ at buy) from 2017. It is assumed that the console update will only be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

It wasn’t until the summer that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey received a similar update. Further content apart from the 60 FPS update for Origins is no longer planned. In contrast to Valhalla and Odyssey, which were expanded with a new crossover mission called “Interwoven Tales” just last week. In addition, the next extensive expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC is planned from March 10, 2022 with “The characters of Ragnaröks” (we reported).
