Weird West will ship with Xbox Game Pass in March 2022
Weird West was quietly announced as going to the Xbox Game Pass at launch as part of the latest ID@Xbox Showcase earlier this month, and was originally planned for January – but is now slated for March 31, 2022.
The reason for the delay is because the game “needs some unstable moments to be resolved”:
Weird West is incredible (according to beta testers) but needs some wonky moments ironed out (also according to beta testers)!@WolfEyeGames have made something special and we want you all to have the best experience at launch.

If you haven’t heard of it, Weird West is described as “a dark fantasy reimagined from the Old West, where lawmen and gunmen share the frontier with fantastical creatures.” You will journey through the history of a group of atypical heroes, with a journey considered “unique and tailored to the actions taken – a series of high-risk adventures where everything counts and the world reacts to the choices you make”.
It is being developed by WolfEye Studios, which is staffed by ex-veterans of Arkane Studios.
Here is some more information about the game, along with some official screenshots:
“Survive and unravel the mysteries of the Weird West through the intertwined fates of its unusual heroes in an immersive simulator from the co-creators of Dishonored and Prey.”
